With Amazon teams being at the top end of the current rule set’s power level, I could see many people’s gazes being drawn their way. I recently did the unboxing of the Kara Temple Harpies plastic Amazon team box set. Today let’s look at the 4th Edition Amazon metal team. For the metal & old school aficionados. This team was sculpted by Trish Morrison and Mark Harrison. I don't know how much Mark Harrison did on the team but I do recognise Trish’s typical posing style, ideal for Spin Casting but not always the most aesthetically pleasing for my personal taste. To be fair, I guess you can see it in Mark’s sculpts as well but for some reason I always seem to spot Trish’s sculpts. Don’t get me wrong, she is a better sculptor than me and actually some of my favourite models are her work. It's been five years since the release of the Blood Bowl Second Season Edition. Is it too soon for Games Workshop to release a new edition? This question is one that divides our community quite a bit. For some, the last edition had problems that this new edition removes, for example, the 'wildly inaccurate' result while passing rule and the new 'keyword' system which solves a lot of the uncertainty around rules and skills interactions.   On the other hand, it could be argued that releasing a new edition relatively quickly on the heels of the Second Season Edition (2020) means more changes, too soon and risks more inaccuracies arising through lack of adequate play testing. The 'Living Rule Book' (LRB) era was a long, stable period in Blood Bowl's history, running between 2002 and 2016.
